It is always a clear sign to us in the office that summer is coming to an end when snowboard deliveries turn up! It seems crazy to be sorting and packing snowboards in high summer, but before you know it the temperatures drop and winter is suddenly in full swing. Dealers have now received their drops of Never Summer snowboards for the winter! We had a great season last year and the range is looking fantastic for this winter too!
Favourites like the Proto Type Two, West and Funslinger are back! The Infinity and Wmn’s Proto Type Two remain the most popular women’s models. For kids – the Bantam/Starlet then Mini Proto are designed to offer real performance for those who want it.
Shaper Series
The Shaper Series started a few years ago with the Swift, but became a thing with our limited edition early release Insta/Gator and Maverix this winter. Now it is back bigger than ever! The Swift has been updated to feature Fusion Rocker Camber – like all the Shaper Series models. This is essentially our Ripsaw profile at the tail of the board, and the original profile at the nose. In simple terms, it is Rocker Camber but with twice as much camber on the tail than the nose.
There are also women’s versions of the Insta/Gator and Maverix. The Big Gun completes the range. All models in the Shaper Series are directional freeride boards, with tapered shapes and the Fusion Rocker Camber Profile.
