Description
The AXIS ART 1099 has arrived – so what’s so special about it? You’ve probably heard rumors about larger ART’s in development. We’ve certainly been inundated with enquiries and requests, but we took our time to get this one perfect, and we can’t be prouder.
With an Aspect Ratio of 10.6, the distinctive look of the ART family is taken to a whole new level, as is the performance.
The releases of the ART 999, 899 & 799 gave us the confidence to push the wing span and resulting aspect ratio limits further than ever before. With much subtle refinement in R&D, the AXIS ART 1099 has been richly rewarding us with outstanding results.
The glide is out of this world, endless, smooth and yet very fast for its size, but not at the expense of its ability to turn or pump. Low stall speeds and unexpected ease of use that characterise the smaller siblings in the ART range remains and are even enhanced on the ART 1099.
The ART 1099 once again proves that these reduced chord, high aspect wings are the most advanced, hydrodynamically efficient foil designs on the market today. When combined with an AXIS Carbon mast and AXIS Progressive rear wings, they provide the ultimate friction free ride.
A caution though, once you’ve ridden the ART 1099, it’s very difficult to be happy with anything else. The ART 1099 was not designed for Jumping.
PLEASE NOTE – This wing is only compatible with the Black fuselages
